Even when external health authorities require changing protocols, our underlying philosophy remains constant. Throughout the 2020 pandemic era, we stayed focused on the health and well-being of our patients.
A HEALING SPACE
Any space can be transformed into a healing space. Although there are many ways to arrange and adorn a room, the most important element is a "sense of ease". With ease comes feelings of peace and harmony. With this in mind, we have enhanced the "ease" by creating friendly, uplifting rooms with interesting books and art, comfortable furniture, and living plants.
The communal areas are designed to help you relax into your time with us. There are waiting zones for those who wish to sit quietly without the distraction of music. Please let us know if you'd like music in your treatment room.
Unplug! We promote disengaging with (and silencing) electronic devices during your ENTIRE time in the clinic. If a phone call is absolutely necessary, please lower your voice or step outside.
A HEALTHY SPACE
We clean with natural and safe hospital-grade disinfectants, such as Thymol.
The clinic air feels like the outdoors because it is purified with Hydroxyl air sterilizers, which kill viruses and other pathogens. The abundance of indoor plants also improves indoor air quality.
HABITS and LIFESTYLE
Another pillar to staying healthy involves enhancing our bodies through activity, food, water, herbal remedies, supplements, mindset, and bodywork, such as acupuncture. Supporting the body’s natural ability to heal is sensible regardless of current circumstances.
The one positive change you can make immediately is to drink enough water, unless your doctor has recommended against it specifically for you. How much water (not including tea, coffee, soda, etc) is enough? Many healthcare practitioners recommend approximately two to three quarts of water a day, depending on your weight. Staying fully hydrated is a game-changer that benefits eyesight, brain function, energy, and endurance.
PAUSING FOR PEACE
The world is often a distracting and demanding place. Fortunately, there are many free and natural methods to help facilitate peace and counter a hectic life.
Having time away, even a few moments, can be deeply restful and rejuvenating.
Learning to breath naturally and consciously can provide an immediate sense of ease and perhaps even lead to a deep understanding of ourselves and beyond.
